Time to share some travel writing. Today we will talk a little about Lisbon.
The first days of the international trip started with Lisbon. This beautiful city has many aspects that we can identify with Istanbul, so I didn’t feel too unfamiliar with it.

Lisbon has two sides. One side connects to Almada, while on the other side there is a pearl like Rossio. And Rossio has enough of everything you’re looking for.

History, shopping malls, city landmarks… The best of everything is literally available in Rossio.
Its architecture is unique. There are castles with beautiful views and historical churches. It has a famous elevator from which you can watch the whole city along with the sea. There are open-top buses and trains that allow you to take a city tour.

Although the city is famous for its train. You can understand the value given to the train by the fact that gift shops in the city mostly use patterns featuring this train on their products.
However, if you ask me, it might be more enjoyable to visit the city by bus. This option may sound more attractive as you will encounter more beauty both in the style of the bus and in the road used by the vehicles.
You can also tour the streets of the city with Lisbon’s famous train. These streets pass near many historical buildings, from the Sé Church to the São Jorge Castle. This option is also a very attractive option.
One of the Lisbon locations you should visit is the Belém Tower. This tower is directly above the sea, like the Ortakoy Mosque -which is in Istanbul, Besiktas. And it has a very beautiful view.

If we go to other parts of this side of Lisbon, we encounter the Benfica stadium and the Colombo shopping mall. Since these two buildings are in the same place, you have the chance to visit them together. If it is a match day, you are likely to encounter people in red jerseys lingering in the mall until match time. But in this case, be prepared for the crowd, because Benfica is a well-established club with a lot of fans. If you go on a non-match day, you can also benefit from the stadium museum tour after your tour in Colombo.

Apart from these, there are many beautiful statues in Lisbon. To show:
That’s all I have to say for the upper part of Lisbon. Good day to everyone!
